How to use the two-channel audio mixer.
DualStream lets you mix two independent audio sources into a single output — your headphones or speakers. Think of it as a personal audio console in your browser.
Each channel has its own volume slider and can play any source type. The master slider controls overall output. VU meters show real-time levels per channel.
Color noise for focus, sleep, or masking distractions. Brown is deep and rumbly (thunder/ocean), Pink is balanced (rainfall), White is bright and hissy (fan/static).
A gentle pentatonic arpeggiator. Ambient melodic tones that cycle through a pleasant scale — good for background atmosphere or creative flow.
Algorithmic classical music. Choose from:
Ancient frequency tones used in meditation and sound healing. Pure sine waves at specific frequencies:
Two slightly different frequencies — one in each ear. Your brain perceives the difference as a rhythmic beat, inducing specific brainwave states:
⚠️ Use headphones. Binaural beats only work with stereo separation — each ear hears a different frequency.
Live microphone passthrough. Hear yourself or your surroundings through your headphones. Useful for:
Upload any audio file (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG). Loops automatically. Good for backing tracks, podcasts, or your own music.

One-tap soundscapes. Tap any preset button to instantly load both channel settings:
Tap + Save to save your current setup as a custom preset. Long-press a custom preset to delete it.
When enabled and Channel B is set to Mic, Channel A's volume automatically dips when the microphone picks up sound. Perfect for:
The pink dot in the ducking row lights up when ducking is active. Default: dips 30% with fast attack, slow release.
Set a countdown (1-480 minutes) and both channels stop automatically when it ends. The display shows remaining time. Ideal for sleep — no audio running all night.
Each channel has a 🎧 pan slider below the volume control:
Use pan to create space — Channel A slightly left, Channel B slightly right — so both sources feel distinct.
File upload: Works best with .mp3, .wav, .ogg, or .flac. Video files (.mp4, .mov) and iCloud-offloaded files won't work — download them locally first.
URL: Tapping the URL button opens a prompt. Paste a direct link to an audio file (ending in .mp3, .wav, etc). Streaming service links (YouTube, Spotify) won't work — they require authentication.
